Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

Getting started

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Mostly operations-heavy businesses with roughly 15 to 250 employees, especially in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, accounting and property management. The common factor is repetitive work moving information between documents and systems.

What is the best process to automate first?

One that happens often, follows mostly consistent rules, involves typing information from one place into another, and causes visible pain when it goes wrong. Invoice entry, order entry and inbox triage are common first projects.

Do you work outside Canada and the US?

Our clients are mainly in Canada and the United States. We can work elsewhere when the systems and time zones make sense.

Pricing and timelines

How much does a typical project cost?

Most single-process builds are $10,000 to $40,000, after an assessment from $2,500 that is credited against the build. See pricing and our cost guide.

How long does it take?

Six to twelve weeks from assessment to go-live is typical for a single process.

Are there ongoing costs?

Yes: software subscriptions and AI usage, paid directly to providers, usually tens to a few hundred dollars a month, plus an optional support plan from $750 a month.

AI and accuracy

How accurate is AI at reading documents?

Very accurate on clean digital documents, less so on poor scans and handwriting. We validate every extracted value against your records and send uncertain results to a person, and we measure accuracy on your documents before anything runs unattended.

Will AI make decisions on our behalf?

Only the decisions you choose to delegate, such as routing an email. Anything involving money, customer commitments or compliance has a person approving it.

What happens if the AI provider changes its model?

We keep a test set of real examples for every AI step and re-run it when models change, before the change reaches production.

Data, ownership and support

Who owns what you build?

You do. Workflows, code, prompts and documentation live in your accounts.

Is our data used to train AI?

No. We use AI services whose business terms exclude training on your data. See security and data handling.

What if something breaks after launch?

The first 30 days of fixes are included. After that, a support plan covers monitoring and fixes, or we hand over to your team with full documentation.

Find out what one process could save you

Book a paid automation assessment. We map the process with your team, measure the time it takes, and give you a fixed-price build plan with expected savings. If automation is not worth it, we will tell you.
